Where Light Leans In

$680.00

Sanctuaries

This stretch of water isn’t dramatic. No mountain, no fire in the sky — just a bend in the trees where the light gets caught for a while before it moves on. I built the far bank thick, knife over knife, because that’s where the light was working hardest. The near bank I left thin. Not every edge needs the same attention. I painted this slowly, eking out every knife mark as though I could stand in that bend a little longer.

"Where the Light Leans In” is joining my Sanctuaries series — small enough to live anywhere, peaceful enough to rest in daily.

9×12” Oil on Gessobord

frame not included | the paint is still wet – will ship once cured and varnished
